The Wood-Ridge High School Competitive Cheering Team are InterNational Grand Champions.
In a season where they placed first in all Nine competitions they entered, and in Seven of those Nine received Highest Score or Grand Champions, they headed to Florida for the Americheer Nationals.
Our Girls Placed First, Received the Best Choreography Award and were named Overall InterNational Grand Champions!

The Wood-Ridge High School cheerleaders finished off their incredible season this year with Americheer's International Competition held at the Milk House in Walt Disney World, Florida.
After two rounds of competition, the team waited anxiously for the awards' ceremony. The cheerleaders, coaches and many spectators who made the trip to Florida in support of the team were elated to hear the results.
Wood-Ridge High School received first place in the Large Show Cheer Division, the High Point Award which is awarded to the team with the highest combined score for both days of competition, the Wow Choreography Award for best overall routine as well as being named Grand Champions for outscoring the other 58 high school routines in their session. The girls also were very proud to have outscored 111 teams throughout the other sessions as well. The season could not have concluded on a better note for this team. They worked extremely hard all year together and formed a bond which allowed them to excel to an unprecedented level at Wood Ridge High School. This was the first undefeated season for the high school cheerleaders and their coaches and families could not be more proud.
